(ii) Machine Operated
Completion of RCT only by hand operated files has several disadvantages over machine operated files:-
(i) Irregular Cleaning → Incomplete debries removal → Less success rate of RCT.
(ii) Antiseptic chemicals used in RCT cannot reach properly to the tip of the rootcanal space and branchings of canal → recidual debris → less success rate of RCT
(iii) More time consuming.
We use X-Smart Endomotor (DentsplyUSA) to drive the Files( Machine operated Files)
We use Protaper -Next file system(Maillefer Switzerland).This machine and file system is mostly used all over the world including USA.
All the above mentioned disadvantages of hand driven file system got overcome by this new technology. So we get faster and much more predictable reasult of RCT
